ROOTSMEN / INTRODUCTION

THE TEAM BEHIND THE PROGRAM.

A 55-second introduction to ROOTSMEN's product development, manufacturing and execution resources.

From Brief to Production

Three disciplines, eight stages, one team accountable end to end.

01–03

Product Planning & Design

Brand brief, artwork and references become a considered product direction, range and specification.

01

Brief & Requirement Review

We review the client's artwork, product references, dimensions, intended use, quantities and key requirements.

02

Product Development & Material Confirmation

We refine the product construction, dimensions, materials, colours, trims, logo applications and production details with the client.

03

Sampling & Quotation

A development sample is produced for evaluation, while pricing is finalised based on the confirmed construction, materials, quantity and customization requirements.

04–05

Program Management & Execution

One team aligns cost, sampling, suppliers, approvals and launch timing from development onward.

04

Sample Review & Order Confirmation

The client reviews the sample and requested adjustments are finalised. Once the product, pricing and order terms are confirmed, the order proceeds to production preparation.

05

Pre-Production Sample (PPS)

After bulk materials and production colours are prepared, a Pre-Production Sample is made using the intended bulk-production materials and specifications. Both sides confirm the final construction, materials, colours and workmanship before mass production begins.

06–08

Production & Supply Chain

Core manufacturing, specialist partners, quality control, consolidation and delivery under one program.

06

Bulk Production

Cutting, printing, sewing, assembly and finishing are carried out according to the approved Pre-Production Sample and confirmed specifications.

07

Quality Control & Packaging

Finished goods are inspected for workmanship, dimensions, appearance and packing requirements before being packed for shipment.

08

Delivery

Approved goods are prepared for shipment according to the agreed logistics and delivery arrangement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers before you send a brief.

How can ROOTSMEN help if we only have an idea or artwork?+

We can turn an initial idea, artwork, reference product or campaign brief into a product direction. The first stage aligns audience, function, target cost, quantity, timing and the product range before detailed development begins.

What parts of a product can ROOTSMEN design and customise?+

Structure, dimensions, compartment layout, materials, colours, hardware, logo application and packaging can all be developed around the brief. The exact scope is agreed before sampling so design decisions remain connected to cost and production.

Can ROOTSMEN coordinate products outside its core manufacturing categories?+

Yes. Core bags and soft goods can be combined with selected headwear, accessories, packaging and specialist merchandise through qualified production partners, with ROOTSMEN coordinating specification, sampling, quality requirements and consolidation.

What do you need from us to start a project?+

Send what you have: an idea, artwork, reference images or a physical sample. Product category, estimated quantity, target launch or delivery date and any market or compliance requirements help us define the most useful first response.
